How it works

A high-pressure water jet works by forcing water through a small nozzle at very high pressure to create a powerful, focused stream.

Water Source – Water is fed into a machine (usually from a tank or tap).
Pump – A high-powered pump increases the pressure of the water, often up to 3,000–4,000 psi (pounds per square inch).
Nozzle – The pressurized water is pushed through a small nozzle, which turns it into a narrow, high-speed jet.
Cleaning Power – This powerful jet can cut through grease, clear blockages, remove debris, and even strip paint or rust depending on the pressure and nozzle type.

In drainage, it’s mainly used to clear pipes of blockages, like fat, roots, or silt—quickly and without chemicals.
